Ian Penrose is a Saint Louis native who has been living in the Chicago area since 2002. He currently resides with his cat in Wicker Park. While still a devout Cardinals fan he has been known to cheer for the White Sox from time to time. His fiction has been published in local literary magazines including MiddleWestern Voice and 10,000 Tons of Black Ink and was voted best columnist in Illinois by the Illinois College Press Association in 2006.
