Late Tuesday evening, computer gamer Colin DeMoss came to the revelation that real estate agent, dentist, and lawyer Orly Taitz was actually just an Internet meme come to life.
“I was just sitting there in my room, drinking some Mountain Dew and I was like, Orly? More like, ORLY?!?” DeMoss said. “I mean, yeah, it’s been a few weeks since I saw her on TV, but I mean, just look at her name!”
Taitz, a current resident of California, is one of the more outspoken supporters of the idea that Barack Obama is not a natural born citizen and therefore is unable to be the President of the United States of America. Taitz herself was born in Moldova, making her an excellent candidate for understanding constitutional law.
DeMoss, in his previous statement, was referring to a recurring Internet joke in which an owl with its head cocked is captioned “ORLY?!” as a way of abbreviating the question “Oh, Really?” These types of jokes are commonly reffered to as “memes.”
“I’m a bit slow, I’ll admit it,” DeMoss, who is the lowest ranking cleric in his World of Warcraft guild, admitted. “It took me like, a whole month ot get All Your Base Are Belong To Us. Peanut Butter Jelly Time was like trying to decipher the Rosetta Stone, amirite?”
Though his friends have tried to explain to him that he’s not just slow, but that he might be imagining things, DeMoss is steadfast in his discovery.
“I think I’ve got a line on this. I mean, her stupid accent? Her ridiculous cause? The fact that she’s a lawyer, AND a dentist, AND a real estate agent? That’s got to be a reference to something, but I haven’t checked Encyclopedia Dramatica yet.” DeMoss said. “Just remember, for great justice, take off every zig.”
